looking back..

"O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan, And whoever follows the footsteps of the Satan - Indeed, he enjoins the immorality and the wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His Mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing  and Knowing."
{an-Nur(24):21}

The most submissive, obedient one among the rows of the angels before the born of Adam a.s in this world was the Satan.

However, when Adam a.s. was brought in this world, the Satan faithfulness to Allah Taála was tested. Satan was asked to bow down to Adam a.s., a simple act to be done. Yet, because of the arrogance that lay in the Satan, it refused to do so. And because of this ignorance toward Allah Ta'ala simple order, the Satan was thrown out of the Jannah.

"And We have certainly created you, (O mankind) and give you (human) form. Then We said to the angels, 'Prostrate to Adam'; so they postrated, except the Iblees (Satan). He was not of those who postrated." {al-a'raf(7):11}

"(Allah) said: 'What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?' (Satan) said: 'I am better then him. You created me from fire and created him from clay (earth)"{al-a'raf(7):12}

"(Allah) said: Descend from it (Paradise), for it is not for you to be arrogant therein. So get out; indeed you are the debased"
{al-a'raf(7):13)
So if we look at the incident that occur in the earliest time, when Adam a.s. was first brought to this world, the Satan (or Iblees) whom used to be the most honorable angle, because of its ignorance, it was thrown out of Jannah (paradise).

When we take the tale out to us, as the humble servants of Allah SwTa'ala, we should then ask ourselves, how faithful I am as His servant.

While the Satan was thrown out of the Paradise because of the refusal to follow only 1 order from Allah Ta'ala, it was thrown straight away from Jannah.

But us as human, we often hope, wish for paradise, but we refused to follow His orders 100%. Only taken some of His orders that we think suit us and follow while the others, we put it aside.

How many orders have we disobey The Mighty Allah in our life, until today?
Yet, unlike the case of Satan, Allah Ta'ala still give us chance to repent to Him while we still live in this world, where else the Satan does not stand even a chance to do so.

Thus, why can't we see the beauty of Al Rahman and Al Raheem (The Gracefulness and The Merciful) to us here?

we follow not the act of the Satan even a bit of it, as if He wills it, we could have just been forbidden from  having the chance to enter Paradise or even the frangance of Jannah, as what occur to the Satan before.

And 1 more attribute that we should avoid developing in our self: Arrogance.

as the arrogance that arise in the Satan, he found the desire to disobey Allah, wherein before it was among the front row of angels in Allah sight.

Thus, throw away the arrogance that could have lies in our heart as we will never find the willingness of postrate to Allah Taála humbly and follow His orders willingly if we have it in ourself.

p/s: small arrogance to other people could let to bigger arrogane as time goes by.. so avoid it!
