in the issue of using 'Allah' to refer to god among other religions beside islam, i have my own view on this..
to refer god as Allah should not be a problem as muslim occasional refer the All Mighty as God.
However, once a person use to signify God as Allah, this holds that the person has agreed to the remaining 98 names of Allah..
And why 'Allah' the All Mighty God as such amount of names which only used to refer to the One, Ultimate God.
As He is the Top, Ultimate, All Mighty One, to Him belong the beauty of the names as was scriptured below.
"And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah..." (chapter 7, verse 180)
So, whenever one refer God as Allah, it shall mean that one signify all Allah attributes, listed in the names..
Wallahu'alam.. He knows best..
till then, pen-off
