the thought has been far from one mind..
yet, recently when one came across a writing by amr khaled, one has to ask..
how did one really think she could gain paradise..
could it be by counting one deeds.. hm.. it could be and it could be not..
as if one recall back by a story that at one time (not the exact conversation here),
when Allah S.w.T was about to send one of His servant to the Jannah, yet before He does so, He ask him, what do he think enable him to get into Jannah..
when he replied it is because of his deeds, immediately this servant is stopped from entering jannah.
and why is that..?
we have been kept on hearing to keep on doing good deeds to enable us to step into paradise, yet recalling back to this story, Allah Taála stop this servant from entering into Jannah when he answered that his deeds enable him to enter the paradise.
Allah S.w.Ta'ala then said, he was first been given the chance to enter paradise is because of His Mercy, and no other.. nothing else..
yet, hearing upon this story, does that means, from now onwards, one should no longer work hard in doing good deeds and no longer strive hard to do ibadah..?
for it won't be any use if Allah decided not to let one enter it although the deeds that were done are mount high up as the tallest mountain in this world..
well, think again..
Allah is the Al-Ad'lu... Ar-Raheem..
He always gives more than what his servants need..
If one put it trust to Allah, with the real trust..
then do now, Allah will always be with one at all time..
its just that, in doing this deeds, in order to gain His al-Jannah.. the mosr desirable paradise.. there's only important step..
to gain it with the heart..
upon mentioning on the matter of gaining paradise with heart..
does this further mean that one do no longer need to do any ámal or any worshipping to Allah..?
the answer is NO..
heart here means to ensure that each steps, each action, each words.. each seconds.. comes with the presence of heart..
for if everything is done with the heart.. and the right sense..
with Allah wills, nothing will go astray from obtaining His Mercy..
the heart will make one ensure that the intention of each action is crystal clear..
and is the right, truthful intention.
if we recall back about the story at the time when 3 of His servants were strapped in a cave by a huge stone, and nothing could be done with their hands to remove it.
So intead, they put faith and trust in Allah Ta'ala and supplicate to Him.
all three of them supplicate for Allah to remove the stone by presenting to Him their greatest deeds of all, with the purest and sincerest deed they have ever done.
after all three of them present to Him their greatest, trutful deed, by Allah wills, the stone slowly remove itself and enable them to get pass thru to the open side.
If one was at that place and time, what did one thing one could have present to Allah S.w.Ta'ala for Allah to help one to remove the stone.. ?
a thing to reflect and ponder..
so. one of the truthful deed will be sincerity in the heart.. with the greates sincere of all..
and sincere will always fight with proud that will come arise although at start it was being thrown away as far apart as possible..
thats the first step in gaining paradise with heart..
its sincerity...
other steps that follow.. will need this 1st step to come true..
