"Dan di bumi terdapat bagian2 yang berdampingan, kebun2 anggur, tanaman2, pohon kurma yang bercabang, dan yang tidak bercabang, disirami dengan air yang sama, tetapi Kami lebihkan tanaman yang satu dari yang lainnya dalam hal rasanya.. Sungguh, pada yang demikian itu terdapat tanda2 kebesaran Allah bagi orang2 yang mengerti.."(ar-Ra'd:4)

"And in the earth are tracts (diverse though) neighbouring, and gardens of vines and fields sown with corn, and palm trees― growing out of single roots or otherwise: watered with the same water, yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Behold, verily in these things there are Signs for those who understand!" (ar-Ra'd:13)
Further into this verse.. as such the plants throughout this universe, particularly the earth.. there are various kind of trees, plants.. to which the born of all types of fruits & veggies..
yet, we have to wonder.. although these fruits and veggies seem to be similar in kind.. yet the taste of each of it differs..
even when they grow on the fields which stand side by side..
they still produce different taste..
it somehow similar to our daily life if we look thoroughly thru it..
example.. in cooking.. although each cook uses the same ingredients and the same method in cooking, the same utensils.. yet the resultant dish might taste different between each other..
in schools.. the students are all thought the same thing, the same method of teaching.. but there are some who learn easily while there are some who might have difficulties in doing so..
and this cause us to wonder 'why'...
as He has disclose in this verse.. there are some things which He will make to be better than others.. and in our case.. our capabilities..
so in life.. there are people who kept on excelling in their life.. in work.. in marriage.. in business.. with only tiny effort in doing it..
while there are people who are yet to rise to meet the sun.. although they might have tried whole hearted in succeeding..
and reading His verse.. the question "Why?".. rise again..
well, i might not be the best person to put it..
but in my opinion.. each situation a person is place in.. is from His own rightful reason..
it might be the best for us.. as if we're on the other side of the grass, we might fail even worse later..
or perhaps we might be too arrogant by then..
or it might simply because He love us to keep on reaching to Him... for if we are on the greener route, we might tend to abandon Him..
thus.. as He had remind us in the initial chapter; al-baqarah, verse 126, where He mention that sort of meant as "..Perhaps you hate a thing which is good for you and perhaps you love a thing, which is bad for you.. and He knows best whats good for you..", whatever befall in our path are what suit our need..
so, we need to keep on thanking Him for whatever situation we're place in..as there are silver pearl lies beneath under awaits to be discovered..
yet keep in mind, that doesn't mean we should stop trying for a better life.. as what He praised upon is the 'Effort' and not the "end -result.."..
this is a reminder for the writer.. and reassurance to whom might felt to be abandon..
