and made me realize.. the world is indeed just an arena of play..
a game.. which we'll sometimes win and we'll sometimes loose..
that is what we know it as 'fitrah kehidupan'..
like the song which as far as i can recalled,
goes as this..
"Hidup tidak selalunya indah,langit tak selalu cerah,suram malam tak berbintang, begitu aturan Tuhan"
let us take a look at an apparent example, in the famous story of Yusuf a.s. in the surahtul named after him, Yusuf (12).. skipping all the great beginning, lets look at the king dream, when he then asked an interpretation for it..
"Indeed, I have seen (in a dream) seven fat cows being eathen by sece (that were) lean, and seven green spikes (of grain) and others (that were) dry." (12:43)
and look at how Yusuf as interpret it to the king; note that Yusuf a.s. was always right for his ability to interpret dreams..
"you'll plant for seven years consecutively; and what you harvest leave it in its spikes, except a little from which you will eat..
Then will come after that seven difficult (years) which will consume what you advanced (saved) for them, except from which you will store.
Then will come after that a year in which people will be given rain and in which they will press (olives and grapes).." (12:47-49)
which certainly convey.. after a little cherrish life.. (joy,win), one will always be tested with difficulties..
and if during its time of joy, one know how to 'save', to be grateful to his Lord, when the times of difficulties appear, one will not be dumbfounded by it..
as Allah is always there to help in any way best for it..
subhanallah..
story after story being told in the quran..
but how the people of the past, being given power, joy, and then being tested with difficulties..
and about the messengers, the prophets, test after test, tribulations pouring.. yet, due to its patience, sincerity in faith, trust to Him,
they end with joy and victory..
just look at the story of Ayub a.s. ..
story of Yusuf a.s. as the whole itself..
so, its really a circle of life..
we'll win some, and we'll loose some..
so, its up to us.. how do we face each sec of our life as..
