d way of a companion..

"when the enemy is a hundreds yards away, we will use our bows and arrows; when the enemy comes closer, we will fight with our spears; when the spears break, we will have a hand to hand combat with our swords."

a great stratergy adopted by one of the prophet(s.a.w)'s companions, 'Asim bin Thábit.

Often one here wonder does each creature in world are really on the true side, the side of those with faith to Him, The All Mighty..?

Such evidence that was always being given to support this saying is about how the prophet (s.a.w) was saved by the spider wasps that hid rasulullah(s.a.w) and Abu Bakar r.a. from the sight of musyrikun who were seeking them at that time.

Yet, there's another evidence where Allah showed the postrations of His creatures, with regard about
'Asim bin Thábit.

Being a great fighter in the battle field, his death was something desired by the musyrikun, even placing a price to those who succeed in doing it.
For when Ásim heard the offere given by the musyrikun in place for his death, he prayed to Allah,

"O Allah. I protect and defend your faith. Have Mercy on me and protect my flesh and my bones. Please do not allow them to falls in the hand of the enemy."

Since life and death is something that no creature could decide when for it to occur,
'Asim here, was not asking to lengthen his life in this world. But he asked Allah to protect his flesh and bones after his death from being taken my the enemy.

And Allah indeed granted
'Asim
his request, for indeed, Allah was pleased with him.
Those who come back to Allah, pleasing Him, Allah will be pleased him. {89:28}

How did Allah answered
'Asim's supplication?
Well, after
'Asim martyrdom, a whole lot of bees, wasps and hornets surrounds 'Asim's body
. This prevents the musyrikun to get anywhere near it as afraid of being attacked by the venomous insects.

When night came, Allah send down heavy rain that washed away
'Asim's
body, and it was nowhere to be found.

Indeed. Allah has protect His servants that are faithful to Him..

prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) has once said:
"Doubtless, this was the way to fihght a battle. Whoever whishes to take parti in a battle should adpot the stratergy of 'Asim bin Thábit."

From this, what one sees, is that, although one is not in the same battle situation as Ásim was in, yet
to live this in this worldly life itself is a battle field.
One need to recognise the true enemy in this life. For it may look a beauty, it may seems a wonder. Yet it cud be the poisonous venom thru out all.
Thus, what are one waiting for..? Let move foward in this battle field..
With Thy Name, one begin..
