O you who believe! When you meet (an enemy) force, take a firm stand against them and remember the Name of Allah much (both with tongue and mind), so that you may be successful.} [ 8:45]
This is often the words/kalamullah given to be steadfast on the true path, only path..
and it's also brought up to encourage muslim to go forth for their Lord, i.e. jihad..
and only today, the meaning of this ayah also corresponds to each muslim to supplicate always to Allah.. both verbally and thru their mind..
for when one supplicates, it indicates that one keep remember Him..
in which if one always keep in mind, Allah is there to watch, to observe, to note..
then one will always keep its action in order.. not to disobey Him, not to anger Him..
but if one still do anything that will mark down as sin, then one need to reflect back the state of one's heart..
this certainly a clear indicatio that health of the heart is detoriating..
if one remembers Him, yet doesnt avoid, or even try to not do anything that doesnt bring goodness
other part of the ayah also stated to remember the name Allah..
Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. (20:8)
there's 99 names that humans, mainly muslims know.. but there's a lot other more that He kept it veil.
and to remmeber the name of Allah doesn't mean just to remember His name.. like we remember peoples name..
each of His name gives His attributes.. which certainly shows His Upmost Attributes..
most of it are mentioned in His Words, in the Quran..
