is today just another day...?
what have i done today to deserve so much from Him..?
I'm been given health..when many others are sick
I'm been given hope..when others are in despair for it
I'm here, to gain experience outside the comfort box.. while many others who long to be here, are left back to keep living in the enclosed space
I'm been given time..when time could have been against me
I'm been given breath..which could be taken from me without notice
I still have roof to shade over me..when my siblings out there are fighting to protect theirs from falling
I have sufficient rations to fill my pot..when others are striving day and night for just a bite of it
Those are few of the gifts from Him to me..
Yet there's one thing which I hope would secure my gratefulness to Him
He gave me Islam when many others are searching for it
O' Allah, My Only One Lord.. i intend to be your faithful servant, to obey Your mandate, to abide by Your decree.. guide me to You..even at times when i disregard You..coz Your gratify and consent is what i long..
I am just Your humble servant who's never free from mistake and confound..
